HMD Fusion smartphone launched at Rs 17,999, to offer customisable experience - Check details

Human Mobile Devices (HMD) has launched the HMD Fusion smartphone in India. These modular smartphones will offer a customisable experience to buyers. The smartphone can transform its identity and functionality with attachable smart outfits, including Casual, Flashy and Gaming outfits.

The smartphone comes with a 108MP rear camera and a 50MP selfie camera.

Key Highlights of HMD Fusion:

108MP Camera: The HMD Fusion is equipped with a 108MP dual main camera and a 50MP front-facing camera. It also has features like Night Mode 3.0, a gesture-based selfie feature, Flash Shot 2.0 with tracking focus and tone control.

Customization: You can tailor the HMD Fusion to any situation with versatile outfits. The Fusion “Gaming Outfit” offers enhanced gameplay controls, while the “Flashy Outfit” provides a foldable RGB LED flash ring for selfies, offering 16 Million colour combination options.

Right to Repair – Gen2: The HMD Fusion has HMD’s second-generation repairability design. This allows users to easily replace the display, battery, or charging port using only a screwdriver. 

Performance: The smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor along with 8GB RAM and expandable storage of up to 256GB.

Battery: HMD Fusion is powered by a 5000mAh battery and the company claims that it supports over 800 cycles and comes with an in-box 33W fast charger.

Software & Security Updates: The HMD Fusion runs on Android 14 and will offer two years of OS updates and three years of security updates.

Display: The smartphone has a 6.56-inch HD+ HID display with a 90Hz refresh rate.

"To further enhance the HMD Gaming Outfit experience, HMD has ventured into an exclusive partnership with Digital Turbine and Aptoide in India. This collaboration brings the Aptoide game store to HMD Fusion, offering users access to the world’s leading mobile games," the company said in a release.

The smartphone is priced at Rs 17,999 and is available in Tech block concept. Also, the company offers HMD Casual outfit, HMD Flashy Outfit, and HMD Gaming Outfit worth Rs 5,999 as complimentary. The sale starts on November 29, at 12.01 pm.
